Catching up on the rest of 2017...

Well, once again I forgot to update this site for a long time. I knew it was inevitable after a remarkable consistent stretch of weekly updates for the first seven months of the year.

The dream ski season was followed closely by an incredible summer for wildflower hiking, and then we kept the momentum going and had our best couple months of trail running ever. There were lots of trips to the Southern Utah desert for running, hiking, and canyoneering - Capitol Reef, Escalante, San Rafael Swell, Zion, Moab, etc etc etc. We went to the Dominican Republic in December. Andrea snuck in a trip to the Wind Rivers in August. We ran many miles of trails in Park City and the Central Wasatch. We had great fun with friends and family. To say 2017 was a really, really great year for outdoor adventures would be a vast understatement.

Now we are waiting for the ski season to begin again. As of December 30th, there's hardly any snow - and what is on the ground seems very dangerous and avalanche-prone. Hopefully it will turn around soon. And if it doesn't, there's no shortage of other things to do here!

Below is a photo dump from August on wards. I'm sure I missed a bunch of good ones, but at least they are out of order.

Happy New Year!!!
