Fall colors in Zion National Park

We weren't thinking about it when we planned the trip (since peak foliage in northern Utah occurred a month earlier), but the best time to check out the fall colors in Zion is late October / early November. In fact, we were a little early, and in the next 1-2 weeks, the leaves should be even more vibrant.

Usually you just think of the red rocks in southern Utah, but the red leaves were equally spectacular...

  1. Hi,

These are great shots! What day were they taken? I'm planning on going there soon I hope.

    1. Thanks Andy. The pics were taken all over - Angels Landing trail, East Rim / Hidden Canyon, and Clear Creek. The colors are popping all over the park right now. The Temple of Siniwava area was just starting to change.
